With her multi-octave range and soul-drenched sound, Berkeley-raised vocalist Destani Wolf is one of the most exciting singers to emerge from the Bay Area scene. Mentored by masters such as percussionist John Santos, she recorded on a Grammy nominated album with Machete Ensemble and Oakland Blues/Funk Guitarist Johnny Talbot (1967 opened for Chuck Berry & The Grateful Dead at The Fillmore) O-maya and The Pharcyde.

Moving down to Los Angeles a decade ago opened up numerous doors for her, like performing and recording with Quantic, Matisyahu, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Shuggie Otis, Alice Russell, Seu Jorge, Zap Mama, Talib Kweli and was Featured Vocalist on a 2nd Grammy nominated Album with MongoRama. Since moving back to Berkeley in 2016 she’s been reintroducing her latest songs of positivity and empowerment.

This year marks 50 years since San Francisco's "Summer of Love" 1967. In honor of these times of change and community she plans on bringing her own LOVE-IN vibe to DTLA's prestigious venue, Blue Whale. Destani exudes hope and strength in her heart-felt performance with her award-winning EP Peek Away project and unreleased songs which makes a compelling case for Wolf’s evolving talent as a songwriter.
